Jennifer A. Peterson has extensive litigation experience handling complex cases in State and Federal courts throughout the Commonwealth. Her litigation background includes the defense of personal injury claims, premises liability, construction defects, professional liability, employment law and defending dram shop claims. Jenniferís litigation practice encompasses handling cases from inception through mediation and trial. Jenniferís vast litigation experience spans near two decades. Developing a trusted rapport with her clients is one of her main priorities in her practice, ensuring responsive and effective representation of her clients.
Prior to joining Travis & Herbert, Jennifer practiced for seventeen years at the law firm of Landrum & Shouse, LLP. The last ten years at Landrum & Shouse, she served as a Partner and served on the firmís Executive Committee. Since joining Travis & Herbert, Jennifer has maintained a full practice, personally handling her litigation caseload.
Jennifer is a Louisville native and lives in Middletown with her husband Tom, and two daughters, Eleanor and Charlotte. Jennifer is an active volunteer in the community and at her daughtersí school. In her free time, she enjoys running, antiquing and watching her daughters dance ballet.
